Jane is on the editorial board of Mental Health in Family Medicine and Asia Pacific Family Medicine, and is a member of the Primary Care Advisory Panel of the British Medical Journal. She serves on a number of professional committees focused on general practice such as beyondblue, Victorian Centre of Excellence in Depression and Related Disorders, and is a member of the National Prescribing Service Research and Development Working group and Steering Committee for the National Survey of Mental Health and Wellbeing. Her current research interests include depression and related disorders, and the complex interplay between emotional wellbeing, physical health and illness.
